WBPSC (West Bengal Public Service Commission) will organize the Civil Service (Exe) exam in March-April 2021. The WB Civil Services (Executive) exam has been divided into four groups A, B, C and D. In the first phase, the commission will organize a preliminary test in March-April 2021 (tentatively). WBPSC will release WBCS Admit Card on its official website about one week prior to the examination date. Aspirants will be able to download the same by using the application registration number and password/date of birth through the direct link given on this webpage.
The West Bengal Public Service Commission has released the Civil Service Exam 2020 Notification on the official website in December 2020. The eligible and desired candidates were asked to submit the online application form from 24 December 2020 to 15 January 2021.

The WBPSC recruitment board will take more than four months to complete the entire recruitment process. The authority will conduct a preliminary test in the first phase. After that, the authority will hold the Main Examination and Personality Test. The candidates who qualify the Preliminary Test will be called up for Main Exam and further. The complete schedule for the WBCS Executive Exam will be released by the authority on its website very soon.
WB Civil Service Executive Exam Scheme – Paper Pattern
Scheme of the Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Examination will consist of only one paper on “General Studies”. There will be 200 multiple-choice questions in the paper. The paper will carry 200 marks and time duration will be of 2½ hours. The standard of the paper will be of the level of knowledge as expected of a graduate of any faculty of a recognized University.

The WBCS Main Exam will consist of six compulsory papers and one optional subject consisting of two papers (Only for candidates applying for group A and/or B) to be chosen by the candidates. There will be two papers of the optional subject paper having 200 marks each. Time duration will be 3 hours.

Aspirants will be able to download the WBCS Call Letter by using the application registration number and password/date of birth. We will provide the direct link to download the admit card as and when it is released officially.
The candidates will get examination centre details and exam timing details on WB Civil Service Admit Card. Aspirants must follow the instructions given by the authority on WBCS Hall Ticket print.
