The eligibility examination for the UP TET examination was held on 23rd January 2022 by the UP-state education board. The results and answer key for the same will soon be released by the UP-education board online on their official website. However, the board will initially release the answer key and later the examination results online. Both the results and the answer key for the examination will be made accessible to the candidates online. Approximately 18 lakh candidates took part in the recruitment examination. The UP-education board held the examination on two sessions per day. With the help of the Teacher eligibility exam, the candidate will be to apply for the teacher post in various schools’ educational institutions under the government sector.

The TET exam will be conducted every year by the UP-state education board and the exam paper consists of two sets,
- Paper 1 is for the primary level for candidates who want to apply for the teacher posts for classes 1st to 5th
- Paper 2 is an upper primary level for candidates who want to apply for the teacher posts for classes 6th to 8th
Regarding the latest updates, the board will be releasing the examination results on 25th February.

Over 10 lakh candidates appeared for the TET exam which was held at various locations across the state.
The UP-state board of education has conducted the TET examination in two shifts, paper 1 and paper2 per day. The board is expected to release the results for the same in the last week of February or the first week of March. The board will release the results online on their official web portal only.

The minimum marks for qualifying for the TET exam vary as per the different sections of society.
- For the candidate from the General section of the society, the candidate should get at least a 60% score to get qualified. He/she should score 90 marks out of a total of 150.
- For the candidate from the SC/ST/OBC section of the society, the candidate should get at least a 55% score to get qualified. He/she should score 82 marks out of a total of 150.
UPTET Certificate 2022
The board will be issuing UPTET certificates only to those who qualify in the written examination and score above the cut off marks. The certificate will include all the necessary details like candidate name, a photograph of the candidate, caste category of the candidate and the UPTET test score. The certificate issued to the candidate by the board will be valid for 5 years.
