UPSC CAPF Admit Card 2021 Assistant Commandant Exam Details

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has initiated recruitment for Constable posts in the Central Armed Police Forces Assistant Commandant. There are 159 vacancies in several posts of recruitment. The written exams will be held offline.

There will also be PET (Physical Eligibility Test) and PST (Physical Standard Test) held for these posts. The exam date is not available yet but soon will be announced on the official website and candidates are advised to keep checking the website.

Further news and information will soon be released on the UPSC website. The admit cards for the exams will be available three weeks before the exam is scheduled. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website using the steps given below.

The vacancies are divided into:

  • BSF: 35 posts
  • CRPF: 36 posts
  • CISF: 67 posts
  • ITBP: 20 posts, 13 of which are backlog seats
  • SSB: 1 post

The education qualifications needed to be admitted to the posts in the CAPF is a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognized university.

The age criteria are like this: the candidate has to be a minimum of 20 years and can be a maximum of 25 years as of August 1, 2021. Age relaxations are applicable based on government norms.

The UPSC board will issue only an e-Admission certificate, and the admit card of candidates will not be sent to their postal addresses. Thus, the candidate needs to visit the official website of UPSC and download the admit card from there. The candidate must take a printout of the UPSC CAPF to admit card on A4 size paper.

Along with the admit card, the candidate has to produce a valid Photo ID card. A recent passport size photo needs to be affixed in the allotted space on the admit card. A thumb impression should be pasted in the presence of the exam invigilator only.

A candidate can bring and produce any of the documents below to the examination centre to show as a valid photo ID.
