About the Posts

There are three kinds of positions being applied for:

Branch Postmaster (BPM): The BPM manages affairs of Branch Post Office, India Posts Payments Bank (IPPB), and ensures uninterrupted counter operation during working hours using the smartphone or laptop supplied by India Post.

Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM): The ABPM manages the sale of stamps and stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail at doorstep, deposits, payments, and other transactions under IPPB, assisting Branch Postmasters in counter duties using the smartphone supplied by India Post.

Dak Sevak: The Dak Sevak conducts the sale of stamps and stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail, and any other duties assigned by the BPM or ABPM including IPPB work in the post offices.

The applicant who took part in the recruitments are looking for their results.

Gramin Dak Sevak Selection Process and About the Exam

As we already know, the post of Gramin Dak Sevak is based on merit list. India Post doesn’t organize written examinations or interviews for selection of candidates for Gram Dak Sevak recruitment. The result has been released on November 23. We will publish a direct link of the exam result below.

The result will be released via a merit list containing the names of the candidates who have scored above a cut-off which is also released on this website. These selected candidates will be called for the next stage of the selection process.

  3. Find the link to Gramin Dak Sevak and click/tap on it.
  4. Download the merit list as a PDF.
  5. Search for your roll number, either manually checking for your number, or using a Search function on your smartphone/computer.
  6. Check the result.
