OPSC Assistant Soil Conservation Officer Admit Card 2021 ASCO Exam Date

Odisha Public Service Commission has initiated recruitment for the post of Assistant Soil Conservation Officer in the state. The examination will be in offline mode. There are 92 vacancies for the Assistant Soil Conservation Officer post. The exam date for Assistant Soil Conservation Officer aspirants will be announced shortly. The admit card for the same will be released accordingly.

There are 92 vacancies for the LRD Constable posts, divided into:

  • Unreserved-46 posts
  • SEBC-10 posts
  • SC- 15 posts
  • ST- 21 posts

The education eligibility criteria for the post of Assistant Soil Conservation Officer is a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) degree in Agriculture or a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) degree in Horticulture or a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) degree in Forestry from any recognized university. The candidate’s age should be between 21 to 32 years as of January 1, 2021. Age relaxations are applicable based on government norms.

OPSC Assistant Soil Conservation Officer Admit Card 2021

The exam will have two papers, each for 100 marks. Each paper will have 100 multiple choice questions of one mark each. Each paper will be of 90 minutes or one and a half hours. There will also be an interview for 25 marks for candidates shortlisted on the basis of the two papers.

  2. Natural Resources
  3. Soil Formation Processes
  4. Weather and Crop Growth
  5. Economic Importance

Paper 2:

  1. Agroforestry
  2. Rainfed Agriculture
  3. Soil and Water Conservation
  4. Wasteland
  5. Protected Cultivation
