The examinations will be in offline mode. There are 144 vacancies for the posts. The exam date is not available yet but soon will be announced on the official website and candidates are requested to keep changing. Further information will be released soon on the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission website. The admit cards for the ASI recruitment exams will be made available a week before the exam. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website via the steps given below.
The recruitment will have a Computer Based Exam, a Computer skill test, and a physical efficiency test. The computer-based test will have 3 papers, with 100 marks each, taking place in 90 minutes (1.5 hours) each. The contents of each paper are.
- Paper 1: General English and Odia language
- Paper 2: Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability
- Paper 3: Computer Test
Each correct answer will give the candidate 1 mark. a Negative marking of 0.25 marks is applicable for every question attempted incorrectly.

Odisha Police ASI Vacancy, Requirements
There are 144 vacancies available, divided into
- Unreserved (men): 81 posts
- Scheduled Castes: 24 posts
- Scheduled Tribes: 39 posts
One-third of the posts are reserved for women candidates.
The education qualifications required for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Communication) is a B.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science or any related subject, or Bachelors in Computer Application (BCA) from a recognized university.
The age criteria is like this: the minimum age is of 21 years and the maximum age is of 25 years as of January 1, 2021. Age relaxations are applicable based on government norms.
Odisha Police ASI Admit Card Details
The Odisha Police recruitment board will not send the candidate’s admit card to the postal address of the candidate. The candidate will have to visit the official website and download the admit card from there online and take a print out of the admit card on an A4 size paper.
The candidate also has to bring a valid Photo ID along with the admit card. This is necessary as the candidate will be asked to produce an ID card to verify their identity.
A candidate can bring any of the documents below to the examination centre to show as a valid photo ID.

- PAN Card
- Driving License
The candidate has to bring the photo ID’s original document and a photocopy of the same. The examination invigilator will ask for the candidate’s photo ID and Admit Card to verify a candidate’s legitimacy.
