IOCL Apprentice Admit Card 2021 released Soon Indian Oil Technical & Non-Technical Apprentice Posts Call Letter/Exam Date Announced: Indian Oil Corporation Limited has initiated recruitment for Technical and Non-Technical Apprentices posts at various states in India, namely Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Assam, and West Bengal. The examinations will be in offline mode. There are 527 vacancies for the posts. The written exam date is on December 19. Further information will be released soon on the Indian Oil Corporation Limited website. The admit cards/call letters for the exams will be available 7 days before the examination. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website via the steps given below.

There are 527 vacancies, divided into:

  • West Bengal: 236 posts
  • Bihar: 68 posts
  • Odisha: 69 posts
  • Jharkhand: 35 posts
  • Assam: 119 posts

West Bengal/Bihar/Odisha/Jharkhand/Assam: 21 posts

The age criteria are that the minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 24 years. Age relaxations are applicable as per government rules.

The education requirements for various posts are as follows:

  • Trade Apprentice: Class 10 pass, and passed a regular and full-time ITI course.
  • Technician Apprentice: A 3 years Diploma in Engineering from a recognized Institute/University.
  • Trade Apprentice-Accountant: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University
  • Trade Apprentice-Data Entry Operator (Freshers): Class 12 pass, must not have a bachelor’s degree.
  • Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders): Class 12 pass with Skill Certificate in Domestic Data Entry Operator.
  • Trade Apprentice-Retail Sales Associate (Freshers): Non-Graduate with 12th pass qualification
  • Trade Apprentice-Retail Sales Associate (Skilled Certificate Holders): Class 12 pass with Skill Certificate of Retail Trainee Associate for the training of less than one year.

IOCL Apprenticeship Exam Pattern for Technical/Non-Technical

The Indian Oil Corporation Limited board will not send the candidate’s admit card to the postal address of the candidate. Thus, the candidate will have to visit the official website and download the admit card from there online. The candidates should take a printout of the admit card on A4 size paper.

Trade Apprentice – Accountant
  • Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude – 30 Marks
  • Reasoning Abilities – 30 Marks
  • Basic English language Skills – 40 Marks
Trade Apprentice (Fitter / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Instrument Mechanic / Machinist) 
  • Technical Acumen in relevant discipline – 40 Marks
  • Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude – 20 Marks
  • Reasoning Abilities – 20 Marks
  • Basic English Language Skills – 20 Marks
Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator /Retail Sales Associate)
  • Generic Aptitude – 30 Marks
  • Reasoning Abilities – 30 Marks
  • Basic English – 40 Marks

Along with the admit card, the candidate has to bring a Valid Photo ID card. Also, a recent passport size photo should be affixed in the given space on the admit card. A thumb impression should be pasted in the presence of the exam invigilator only.

The candidate has to bring the photo ID’s original document and a photocopy of the same. The examination invigilator will ask for the candidate’s photo ID and Admit Card to verify a candidate’s legitimacy.
