Haryana Public Service Commission has initiated recruitment for Agricultural Development Officer (Administrative Cadre) and Sub Divisional Agricultural Officer. The examinations will be in offline mode. There are 526 vacancies for the posts. The exam date is not available yet but soon will be announced on the official website and candidates are requested to keep checking. The exam is supposed to be held tentatively in December 2021. Further information will be released soon on the Haryana Public Service Commission website. The admit cards for the exams will be made available a week before the exam. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website via the steps given below.

The education qualifications required for the post of Agricultural Development Officer is a B. Sc (Honors) degree in Agriculture, and for the post of Sub-Divisional Agricultural Officer, the requirement is B. Sc (Honors) degree in Agriculture and a 2nd class M. Sc in Agriculture. from any recognized university. Both posts require Hindi or Sanskrit at least up to Class 10.
The age criteria are like this: the minimum age is 17 years and the maximum age is 35 years for Agricultural Development Officer posts, and the minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 35 years for Sub-Divisional Agricultural Officer posts. Age relaxations are applicable based on government norms.
The application fees are Rs. 1000/- for unreserved category male candidates and male candidates from other states, Rs. 250/- for unreserved category female candidates and female candidates from other states, Rs. 250/– for SC/ST/EWS candidates from Haryana, and Physically Disabled candidates from Haryana have no application fees. This can be paid through credit card, debit card, internet banking, or bank challan.

The HPSC board will not send the candidate’s admit card to the postal address of the candidate. Thus, the candidate will have to visit the official website and download the admit card from there online. The candidates should take a printout of the HPSC to admit card on A4 size paper.
Along with the admit card, the candidate has to bring a Valid Photo ID card. Also, a recent passport size photo should be affixed in the given space on the admit card. A thumb impression should be pasted in the presence of the exam invigilator only.
A candidate can bring any of the documents below to the examination centre to show as a valid photo ID.

The candidate has to bring the photo ID’s original document and a photocopy of the same. The examination invigilator will ask for the candidate’s photo ID and Admit Card to verify a candidate’s legitimacy.
